Policies and reference documents

To encourage sound management, the Foundation has developed various policies, guidelines and procedures that reflect best governance practices.

Although the Foundation is a fully independent legal entity, some of the policies issued by the Quebec CPA Order also apply to the Foundation, as it is located in the same office space and shares human and material resources with the Order.

For the sake of transparency, the Foundation created the Governance Manual (in French only) so that you would have one single reference for all governance documents that have been approved by its Board of directors. This manual contains a wealth of information about the role of the Board of directors, succession planning for directors, the number of meetings held annually, the Code of Ethics for members of the Board of directors, and much more.
